Why try the Socratic method with all comers

I was faced with a disagreement at one point and tried to reason logically with legitimate premises and rest on the argument not the education I received like the Socratic Method and the answer I received was, "I don't put much value on education. " I take this to mean formal education. Such a fatuous remark without qualification is undeserving of further comment except that I have read it more than once. The person is just facetiously wasting my time, crass, or suffers from a mental defect. This person simply did not deserve any regard above someone marking time to be another nameless person on the margin of existence. There is one great exception to the criticism I have made. There are areas in society where people can do well. They typically involve banal notions of brilliance. Learning how to manipulate people is not taught in its simplest sense: conning people. Incredible financial gain is more of a crap shoot than a demonstration of brilliance and folksy wisdom. There are exceptions.

I urged tolerance in my last notebook page. When I run into someone who disregards any duty to preserve their own intellectual integrity is a waste of my time and energy. Ridiculous unfounded statements just remind me of an unthinking public. Protection of positions showing a woeful ignorance of statistical sampling methods is equally uninteresting. Expecting  people to know your priorities and threat posed by electronically electing to become ' friends ' to have a respectable sample set to build a profile of a group of people because I knew of no reason not too.

So, lives are short and ignorance stuck in my face is not worth my time. imagine how much tolerance genius level individuals have for people arguing from an illogical foundation, false premises, or inadequate depth means you lost your chunk of office hours. There are dumb questions. Going above and beyond your peers meant a topic would receive discussion. Forget academia, the tolerance is lower in everyday life. My expectation is that people be willing to defend what they have to say. I have flaws and I will admit that I have made a mistake not block someone. There is one time I blocked someone because further discussion was a losing game.

This is brief because the preposterous positions I have struggled through and wasted enough time already. The very fact that these poltroons are able to bring their remarkable decision making to a large population says more about the quality of the bulk of individuals on the internet, it follows that a large pool of consumers on the internet lacking discrimination will provide opportunities for individuals equally deficient in understanding the consequences of their policies or lack the fundamental degree of humanity to feel compassion.
